Relaunched in 2020 following an extensive refurbishment, PROMETHEUS is widely regarded as one of the most stealthy and impressive looking vessels available for private charter on Sydney harbour.

PROMETHEUS has been remodeled to provide complete flexibility to customise the interior furniture to best suit the type of charter, be that a small family day (or night), right up to a fully catered corporate function, birthday party or even promotional event.

The upper deck interior is uniquely bright, open and airy thanks to 360 windows and large glass doors opening onto the large sundeck. If requested the sunroof opens to create a stunning beach club experience bringing in the outdoors but with indoor comforts and facilities.

For the full outdoor experience, the PROMETHEUS’s large sundeck can be configured with minimum furniture or furniture for a small group dining option. The wrap around lounge is comfortable and configured for social interaction and can be supplemented with additional seating if requested.

PROMETHEUS also boasts full length lower deck with stairs leading down to a large living and dining area with full kitchen and bar facilities, ideal for service of our premium dining options. The lower deck is bathed in natural light thanks to a huge centre skylight and large windows. The lower level, as with the upper level can have the furniture configured according to need.

Vessel Features & Amenities

Upper Saloon

Following a full interior redesign in late 2020 PROMETHEUS now offers the largest amount of useable space in its size / class range as well as challenging even larger boats for both useable space and customizable configuration perspectives. The upper saloon offers a huge open plan joined interior / exterior deck area that offers guest uncluttered floor space for mingling with other guests but combined with a huge amount of comfortable lounge seating for those that would prefer to relax and chat while watching the harbour scenery pass by. Fully climate controlled comfort is offered all year round thanks to high capacity reverse cycle air conditioning serving the upper saloon. Whether it’s the middle of a scorching summer day, or cool clear winter evening for dinner guest will always feel comfortable.

Lower Lounge Room & Kitchen

Down the staircase, a whole new level of space presents with a large leather lounge and open plan living area brightly lit with a huge circular skylight and large windows on either side. The island bench houses a Full HD TV complete with Foxtel & Bose Home Theater Sound System, great for watching sports, or keeping the kids entertained. The lower lounge area is often used as a bar / lounge for guests would prefer a different atmosphere to whats upstairs. The lower lounge is also a great place to setup our spectacular Buffet catering with plenty of space for two serving queues at a time.

Outside deck & lounge area

PROMETHEUS has a huge outside deck surrounded by comfortable lounge seeting. The outer deck is popular on those sunny days throughout the year when being outdoors is required. The outer deck is serviced by top of the range Bose speakers playing music from the main system, or if a presentation is being given, the presentation audio.

Onboard Audio / Visual Features

PROMETHEUS has been upgraded with the latest A/V Equipment. We have two large screen Full HD Digital TV screens in the upper & lower lounge area with HDMI inputs, both connected to top of the line Bose Lifestyle Home Theatre systems. These systems area ideal for watching sports, special events or for entertaining the kids. The large format screens are also idea for presentations from USB or Laptops and we have a P/A microphone in the upper lounge so speakers can be clearly heard. Additionally, the two main bedrooms feature digital TV’s ideal for entertainment for overnight stays. Finally, all TV’s have their own HD FOXTEL Satellite connections with premium package available.

Prometheus's Inflatable Pool

PROMETHEUS carries a large inflatable pool, The inner pool is netted and approximately two meters deep. The pool and lounge area provide a popular destination on those hot sunny days ! The pool and pontoon are available for an additional charge.

Dance Floor

When the sun goes down, PROMETHEUS turns into an exclusive night time venue with full lights and sound, with one of the largest open plan dance floors (thanks to it’s 2020 refurbishment that moved the helm station out of the away, and removal of fixed furniture. The dance floor (day or night) comfortably accommodates up to 36 guests. Our LED disco lights synchronise with the music and our BOSE sound system is top of the range with Bluetooth connectivity. Of course, if you prefer to bring your own DJ, we have space for their deck and speakers as well !

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Standard Timeslots. Quoted rates for day charters between 9am and 5pm or evening charters between 6pm and 12pm. All other times subject to approval and rate variation.
Minimum Hours. Three Hour Minimum Off-Peak, Four Hour Minimum Shoulder & Peak unless approved by operator.
Travel Time. Our free pickup / drop off zone is between Drummoyne Ferry Wharf and Rose Bay Ferry Wharf, additional travel time charged for pickups or drop offs past these points.
Overnight Charters. Quoted price includes 4hrs cruising time 6pm to 10pm. Overnight berthing fees vary depending on location. Amenities Fee Inclusions Use of Premium Champagne Flutes, Wine Glasses, Drinking Glasses,Cuttery, Dinner Plates, Side Plates, Desert Bowls, Serving Platters, Serviettes, BBQs, Oven, Microwave, Cooktop, Bath Towels, Hand Towels, Use of Eskys, Fridges and Supply of Ice.

BYO Food & Drinks Service. Drop-off at Woolloomooloo (No Charge), Storage and 30 minute window pickup of leftovers ($50 per 48hrs – no loss liability accepted).
Smoking Fee. Smoking only whilst stationary in designated area, otherwise $200 cleaning fee.
Toilet Blockages. Minor Blockage $200, Major Blockage (Tampons, Face Wipes etc $400)

Excess Cleaning Fee. Above normal spillages, vommitting, unremoved decorations, shoe marks etc $200.
Vessel Damage. Any damage to vessel will be charged at rate to repair to previous undamaged condition.
Bond Required. Standard $2,000 per charter cleared funds / $3,000 overnight charters.
Behavior / Conduct. Charters provided on the condition that guests follow crew instructions. Failure to follow instructions, high levels of intoxication or abuse of staff / guests will result in termination of charter, no refund will be payable.
